Violent Brawl Erupts at Manchester Crown Court

A violent altercation involving approximately 20 individuals erupted outside Manchester Crown Court on Thursday afternoon, May 9. The incident occurred at Crown Square, with the fight eventually spilling onto Bridge Street.

Authorities arrived in significant numbers to break up the violence. The nearby area of Spinningfields was also reported to have a heavy police presence.

According to eyewitness accounts, two groups were involved in the brawl, which included bottle throwing. Several individuals were detained and escorted away by officers, though detailed information from Greater Manchester Police is still pending.

Numerous people gathered at the site, later dispersed by law enforcement, with multiple arrests made at the scene.
