Marco Xavier Pierre White, the 29-year-old son of renowned chef Marco Pierre White, has been sentenced for burglary. His sentencing took place at North Somerset Magistrates' Court on Friday, November 29.

Pierre White, from Weston-super-Mare, was convicted for several break-ins: a non-dwelling burglary at a studio in Meadow Street, Weston-super-Mare, on September 19, and at a shop in Cheap Street, Bath, on October 24. Additionally, he committed a theft from a store in Winterstoke Road, Weston-super-Mare, on October 22.

During the Weston-super-Mare burglary, he was observed leaving the premises with stolen goods, including electronic items and a jewellery box. Officers spotted him in a nearby street as he fled.

After dropping the items, Pierre White attempted to escape but was arrested shortly after. As a result, magistrates imposed a 30-week prison sentence, which has been suspended for 18 months. He was also given a nine-month drug rehabilitation order and ordered to pay fines and costs.
