An abusive individual described as a 'brilliant dad' attempted to defend his violent actions, but was criticized for his malicious behavior in court. Adam Ball, 35, was involved in multiple acts of domestic abuse, resulting in his appearance at Manchester Crown Court.
Originating from Urmston, Trafford, Ball exhibited aggressive behavior when he was unable to connect a Fire Stick to his TV, resorting to verbal abuse and threats towards his partner, who discreetly tried to call the police.
Despite attempts from his partner to maintain peace, Ball continued his abusive actions, which included damaging her personal belongings and sending threatening videos. In court, Judge Recorder Paul Hodgkinson harshly criticized Ball's behavior as 'childish, mean, and spiteful'.
In court proceedings, it was revealed that the couple had been in a relationship for 14 years. Instances of abuse were frequent, and on November 3rd of the previous year, a particular incident involved Ball becoming violent when his technological incompetence led to frustration.
Ball faced multiple charges, including common assault and criminal damage, resulting in a 12-month community order with additional rehabilitation and unpaid work requirements.
