Kyle Clifford Sentenced for Triple Murder: Key Details

Triple killer Kyle Clifford has received a whole-life sentence for the murders of his ex-partner, Louise Hunt, her mother, Carol Hunt, and her sister, Hannah Hunt. The 26-year-old was sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court.

Clifford previously pleaded guilty to the murders and was convicted last week of raping Louise in a violent act of retribution.

Prosecutors stated that Clifford became enraged when 25-year-old Louise ended their 18-month relationship, prompting him to carefully plan the murders that occurred on July 9.

In a premeditated attack, he gained access to the family home and fatally stabbed Carol with a butcher's knife. After waiting for an hour, he attacked Louise as she entered the house, restraining, raping, and ultimately murdering her with a crossbow. He then fatally shot Hannah, 28, with the same weapon.

Prosecutor Alison Morgan KC informed the court that the murders were fueled by "violent misogyny," referencing Clifford's online searches for the controversial influencer Andrew Tate less than 24 hours before the attacks.

Clifford, from Enfield, north London, was sentenced for three counts of murder, one of rape, one of false imprisonment, and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon.
