Glasgow Man Jailed for Stalking in Manchester

A man from Glasgow, identified as Ali Parsa, has been sentenced to a year and nine months in prison. He repeatedly violated restraining orders by stalking his ex-partner in Manchester.

Ali Parsa was prohibited from contacting certain individuals due to a court order but breached these terms by monitoring his ex-partner through social media and even appearing outside her residence in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

Neighbors reported seeing Parsa lurking in a Vauxhall Astra with his face obscured. He previously tried contacting the victim's friends on Snapchat to gather information about her activities and relationships.

After admitting to the violations, Parsa was criticized by Judge Paul Lawton for his persistent misconduct, despite earlier warnings that breaching the court's trust would lead to imprisonment.

The victim expressed her fears for her safety, noting Parsa’s past threats against her and her inability to feel secure in her own home.
