Four Men Charged in Cheshire Crime Spree

Four men have been formally accused following a presumed three-month series of criminal activities spanning Cheshire.

According to police reports, the accusations pertain to 14 break-ins—13 of which occurred in Warrington and one in Middlewich—between February 5 and April 20, 2024. During these burglaries, eight vehicles were also stolen.

These individuals, who hail from Greater Manchester, have been detained by police and are scheduled to appear before Chester Magistrates’ Court on September 27.

On September 26, Cheshire Constabulary stated that a team of officers from both Cheshire Police and Greater Manchester Police carried out searches at three locations in Manchester and Ashton-under-Lyne. This operation led to the apprehension of three men, with a fourth man being detained at HMP Berwyn.

After questioning, the following four men have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles:

  • Brandon Day, aged 20, of Longton Road, Manchester
  • Aaron Gee, aged 20, of Victoria Avenue East, Manchester
  • Joshua Irving, aged 21, of HMP Berwyn
  • Mason Kenny, aged 18, of Lodge Street, Ashton-under-Lyne
