Scarlett Jenkinson and Eddie Ratcliffe have been identified as the culprits behind the tragic death of Brianna Ghey.

The teenagers were found guilty of the brutal murder of Brianna, aged 16, in Warrington. The incident occurred in broad daylight at Culcheth Linear Park.

Brianna, a transgender girl remembered by her family as “beautiful, witty, and hilarious,” was deceived into visiting the park by someone she believed to be a friend. She was then fatally attacked, sustaining 28 stab wounds.

A decisive piece of evidence, a handwritten note found in the perpetrators' possession, marked the date as February 11th, 2023—Brianna's last day. She was found deceased later that afternoon.

Following a comprehensive trial at Manchester Crown Court, which concluded on December 20, the defendants—aged 15 at the time of the crime—were convicted. Sentencing is anticipated soon, with both facing life detention.
