A suspect, Brook Marshall-Byrne, has appeared in court following the death of Piotr Ludwiczak in Bury.
The 19-year-old defendant faced charges of manslaughter and affray during a hearing at Manchester Crown Court on August 15.
Mr. Ludwiczak, aged 35, passed away in hospital after an incident occurring on Silver Street in Bury on July 8.
During the court session, no pleas were entered, and the discussions mostly involved administrative procedures. A subsequent case management hearing is scheduled for November 21.
The trial is expected to commence on May 20, 2024. Meanwhile, Mr. Marshall-Byrne, residing in Prestwich Hills, Prestwich, has been granted bail.
