Burglary Charges Against Vincent Place at Bolton McDonald's

A man is set to appear in court after a burglary at a McDonald's restaurant in Bolton. Vincent Place, 43, has been charged by Greater Manchester Police with multiple offences.

Place, residing on Beechwood Street in Bolton, has been remanded in custody and is due in court tomorrow, February 10. He faces three charges related to an incident at the McDonald's on Derby Street, Daubhill, which reportedly occurred in the early hours of Saturday, February 8.

The charges against him include burglary (theft) not involving a dwelling, criminal damage to property valued below £5,000, and breach of a criminal behaviour order. Additionally, he is facing two charges from an incident on Friday, February 7.

These latter charges involve theft from a shop and another breach of a criminal behaviour order, arising from an alleged incident at the Next store on Trinity Street Retail Park in Bolton.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police stated: "Vincent Place of Beechwood Street, Bolton has been charged with burglary, criminal damage, theft, and two breaches of a criminal behaviour order. This follows an investigation by Bolton’s neighbourhood team into a theft from Next, Trinity Street Retail Park on Friday, February 7, and an incident at McDonald's on Derby Street in the early hours of Saturday, February 8."

"He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Monday, February 10, 2025."
